Eddie Polanco was born to play the guitar.  Growing up in San Antonio in the mid-60's, he got his first electric guitar from a Speigle catalogue.  South Texas hasn't been the same since.  For the next sixteen years, Eddie rocked countless clubs and festivals with bands such as The Saints & The Sinners, Suburban Expressway, Stone Creek, Sandra's Tea, Amethyst, and Island.

Eddie rediscovered his blues roots in the early 80's and never looked back.   After forming Eddie & The Allniters, he took the Texas blues world by storm, amazing audiences and fellow musicians with his brand of blues.  He has played with such great artists as Augie Meyers, Jitterbug Webb, Randy Garibay, Jack Barber, just to name a few.

Eddie can be heard on the recording "They're Red Hot" for the Robert Johnson tribute cd of "Hot Tamales" on Bexar Nekkid Records.   His long time friend and former bandmate Carl Morgan played bass and younger brother Gil was on drums.  The list of musicians on this song includes Gordo Ham & Eggs, Robbie G, Mike Davis and a who's who of Texas bluesmen.

Eddie has been lending his talents to True Stories for so long that he's become a fixture with the band.  Listen to him.  Watch him on stage.  You'll learn what heart really means.
